The following information is for Ticket-holders from England. If you are a ticket holder from Scotland, Wales, Northern Island, the EU or any other international destination please click here.

Like many other events happening this Summer, we ask all ticket-holders aged 18 and over to demonstrate their COVID-19 status upon entering the festival by supplying ONE of the following:

  • Proof of full vaccination – both doses received (with the second at least 14 days prior to the festival) OR
  • Proof of natural immunity – based upon a positive PCR test within 180 days of the festival (including 10 days self-isolation following the result).

<< Please order your Lateral Flow Tests well in advance here >>

Face masks are not compulsory, but they are encouraged and welcomed for those who would prefer to wear them.

It’s been a while since we’ve all been able to celebrate together so we also recommend you have a read of the festival safe website. It’s packed with expert advice about getting back into festivals, so you know what to do to have an epic, unforgettable time at Victorious. We can’t wait to see you all this August Bank Holiday!

Test and Trace
Victorious Festival is proud to be working with Public Health England and Portsmouth City Council to help stop the spread of the virus, protect society and support local businesses to stay open. As part of these efforts, we will be collecting NHS Test and Trace data.

For further details see the ‘Test and Trace’ section below.

HOW DO I DEMONSTRATE MY COVID-19 STATUS?

NHS APP
You can show your COVID-19 status easily via the NHS COVID Pass on the NHS App. For more information on how to do this, please click here.

Please ensure you are using the correct NHS app (this is different from the NHS Covid-19 app).

We strongly recommend that you screenshot or download a copy of your NHS COVID Pass prior to arrival so that you have it ready to show at the entry gates. Alternatively, you can show a printed copy.

NHS WEBSITE

If you do not have a smartphone, you can view your COVID-19 status online and download or print it. To access the service, you’ll need to register for an NHS login if you do not have one already. NHS login registrations may take longer than usual when there are high numbers of requests.

Access the NHS COVID Pass via the NHS website here.

If you cannot access your NHS COVID Pass or if you do not receive a vaccination status letter in time you will need to provide evidence of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test, by reporting the result here and presenting your NHS email or text notification at the entry gates.

HOW TO UPLOAD YOUR NHS LATERAL FLOW TEST

If you are providing details of your COVID-19 Status using an NHS Lateral Flow Test please complete the following steps. You can order NHS Lateral Flow Tests here or pick them up from any pharmacy or test site. We recommend you order or pick up your tests as early as possible.

  • Take lateral flow test prior to travel on the day of arrival at the festival.
  • Once you have taken your test, you will need to report your result on the NHS website here. You will receive a text or email notification confirming your negative test result
  • Once you have reported your result on the NHS website this should update your Covid Pass in your NHS app within 2 hours.
  • We strongly recommend that you screenshot or download a copy of your NHS COVID Pass prior to arrival so that you have it ready to show at the entry gates. Alternatively, you can show a printed copy.

A positive result from an NHS Lateral Flow Test means it’s likely you had coronavirus when the test was done. You and anyone you live with must not attend the festival and self-isolate immediately. You are then advised to get a PCR test to confirm your result as soon as possible.

Physical Ticket Holders
Customers who purchased physical tickets in venues will need to supply the same information for NHS Test and Trace upon entry to the event site.

Will there be extra measures in place at the festival this year?

We want to provide an amazing experience for our festival community, therefore we will be following government guidelines closely to ensure COVID-19 standards are met and we are working with local authorities to ensure the event has procedures in place to reduce the risk of COVID-19. We will have additional security and facilities across the site to ensure a great event for both our festival-goers as well as the local community.

As government guidelines change regularly, we are working to ensure regulations at the event are the most up-to-date so please check back for more information as it becomes available.

If I test positive for Covid-19, can I rollover my ticket to 2022?

If you test positive for COVID-19 using an NHS Lateral Flow Device test or PCR test you will need to self-isolate immediately and follow NHS guidance.

This means you will not be able to attend the Victorious Festival, so please act responsibly, stay at home to protect your fellow festival-goers and the wider community.

Please follow the steps below on what to do next:

1. Check Your Insurance and/or Ticket Protection Plan

If you are not able to attend the event, consider contacting your insurance providers (such as home or travel insurance). Many policies provide cover if you are unable to go-ahead with plans due to a medical emergency.

If you purchased Ticket Protection through TicketPlan at the time of purchasing your tickets for Victorious we would encourage you to get in touch with them. In most cases this will cover you for covid related issues, such as being required to self-isolate. Click here to contact TicketPlan to claim your refund as per the terms of the scheme. If you have claimed on an insurance policy there is nothing further you need to do in terms of notifying the event.

Please note: TicketPlan protection purchased on 2020 tickets and therefore tickets that were rolled over to Victorious 2021 will not be covered. So please follow step 2. for a Ticket Rollover Request

2. Ticket Rollover Request

If you have NOT purchased Ticket Protection insurance as part of your order, you can register that you were unable to attend the festival due to testing positive for COVID-19 and complete our Ticket Rollover Request form.

Any ticket rollover is subject to reasonable evidence of your positive PCR test result.

I have been told to self-isolate, what should I do?

If you are contacted directly and asked to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace please read and follow NHS Guidance.

The rules on self-isolation have changed as of 16th August.

If someone you live with has symptoms of COVID-19, or has tested positive for COVID-19, you will not need to self-isolate if any of the following apply:

  • you’re fully vaccinated – this means 14 days have passed since your final dose of a COVID-19 vaccine given by the NHS
  • you’re under 18 years, 6 months old
  • you’re taking part or have taken part in a COVID-19 vaccine trial
  • you’re not able to get vaccinated for medical reasons

Even if you do not have symptoms, you should still:

  • book a PCR test through GOV.UK or call 119, to check if you have COVID-19. You can also go to the Commercial Road testing site in Portsmouth, or get a home test kit delivered
  • follow advice on how to avoid catching and spreading COVID-19
  • consider limiting contact with people who are at higher risk from COVID-19

If the above does not apply to you and you are contacted directly and asked to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace you must self-isolate immediately and follow NHS Guidance.

This means you will not be able to attend Victorious Festival, so please act responsibly, stay at home and protect your fellow festival-goers and the wider community.

If you are not able to attend the event, please follow the steps below on what to do next:

1. Check Your Insurance and/or Ticket Protection Plan

If you are not able to attend the event, consider contacting your insurance providers (such as home or travel insurance). Many policies provide cover if you are unable to go-ahead with plans due to a medical emergency.

How do I gain entry to Victorious?

The quickest and easiest way to gain access to Victorious is to show your NHS COVID Pass (if you are aged 18 or over) along with your valid ticket for entry.

We strongly recommend that you screenshot or download a copy of your NHS COVID Pass prior to arrival so that you have it ready to show at the entry gates. Alternatively, you can show a printed copy.

If you cannot access your NHS COVID Pass or if you do not receive a vaccination status letter in time you will need to provide evidence of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test, by reporting the result here and presenting your NHS email or text notification at the entry gates.

Do I take my lateral flow test at home or on arrival?

There will be NO lateral flow testing on site so please take your NHS lateral flow device (LFD) test at home as close to the festival as possible before travel and within 24 hours of setting off for Victorious. Please log your report here.

Please try to take your test as close to the festival as possible but prior to leaving your home.
Remember it can take up to 2 hours to validate your NHS COVID Pass.

Day Ticket Holders:
If you are a day ticket holder you will need to take 1 lateral flow test within 24 hours of your arrival to Victorious.

Weekend Ticket Holders:
If you have purchased Weekend or Weekend Camping tickets then you only need to test once, within 24 hours before your first arrival to Victorious, though we recommend you also take a test on Sunday before setting off for the festival.

We also strongly recommend you take a test prior to re-joining your friends, family or workplace.

You can order your free Lateral Flow Tests here or pick them up from any pharmacy or test site. We recommend you order or pick up your tests as early as possible.

How do I obtain an NHS LFD test?

There are three options for accessing NHS LFD tests:
1. Order to your home address here
2. Pick up from your local chemist – find your nearest pick up point here
3. Go to your local community testing centre – find your nearest centre here

Reminder: NHS guidance states everyone should be testing twice weekly to protect your friends, family and wider community. We recommend ordering your tests as soon as possible.

How do I prove my negative NHS Lateral Flow Device Test?

After taking your NHS LFD test, you can report your result online here.

After downloading the NHS App onto your smartphone or registering on the NHS website you will be able to use the NHS COVID Pass to show your negative lateral flow status.

Please note your negative test result can take up to 2 hours to appear in the NHS App.
You will receive a confirmation email and/or text message confirming the result of your test.

If I have a Weekend / Weekend Camping ticket, do I test everyday?

No, if you have a 3-Day No Camping ticket you’ll only need to show your NHS Covid Pass on first entry, though we recommend you also take a test on Sunday before setting off for Victorious.

We also strongly recommend you take a test prior to re-joining your friends, family or workplace.

Do my children have to take an NHS LFD test to attend?

No, we ask all ticket-holders aged 18 and over only to demonstrate their covid status.

I'm fully vaccinated, do I need to provide proof of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test?

No. If you have received both doses of the vaccine 14 days ahead of your first day at Victorious you will not need to take an NHS LFD test.

If you are aged 18 or over and are registered with a GP in England you can provide proof of your vaccination status through the NHS COVID Pass in the NHS App, or via a printed PDF document if you do not have a smartphone.

Ticket holders from Scotland: can access their vaccine status here, and ticket holders from Wales can access theirs here.

All other ticket holders: including those from Northern Ireland will be required to show a negative NHS LFD test taken within 24hrs of attending the event in order to gain entry via NHS text message or email.

However, NHS guidance states everyone should be testing twice weekly to protect your friends, family and wider community so we encourage taking a lateral flow test prior to attending the festival regardless of your vaccination status.

I’m having issues with the NHS App and/or registering with the NHS website. What should I do?

If you are having problems with the NHS App or website we encourage you to contact the NHS App team here.

What is the NHS App?

The NHS App can be downloaded to your smartphone and is the place where you will be able to generate and view your NHS COVID Pass.

It can take up to 24 hours to verify your NHS App account so please download and register a minimum of 24 hours before you leave to ensure you have no issues getting access to your NHS COVID Pass.

What if I don't have a smartphone and can’t access the NHS App or NHS Website?

If you do not own a smartphone or computer you can still log a negative NHS LFD test result by calling the phone number in your test kit’s instructions.

After registering you will receive a text message confirming your negative test result from the NHS that you can provide upon entry to the festival. If you are fully vaccinated you can request an NHS COVID Pass Letter via the NHS Website.

The letter may take up to 5 working days to reach you, so ensure you order in good time before attending Victorious.

What is the difference between the NHS Covid-19 App and the NHS App?

The NHS App: This app is required to gain entry to Victorious using the NHS COVID PASS. The NHS App is required for hosting your NHS COVID Pass to enter the event.

The NHS Covid-19 App: This app is used for checking in to venues and test and trace. The NHS Covid-19 App will not be required for Victorious 2021.

Will I have to wear a face covering / practice social distancing during the event?

No. There will be no need for social distancing and you won’t have to wear a mask if you don’t want to, however we strongly encourage and welcome the wearing of masks especially in busy or enclosed settings.

Please note that masks are still required on most public transport and may be needed if travelling to and from the Victorious site on trains, buses, coaches or taxis – this includes the Victorious shuttle buses.
