There’s so much more to Victorious Festival than just the incredible music – and if you’re heading to Southsea this August, you’re in for a treat on (and near!) the seafront!
We’re lucky to be surrounded by some of Portsmouth’s most iconic attractions, all within walking distance of the festival site. Whether you’re taking a break from the stages or planning to make a weekend of it, there’s plenty to explore and enjoy.
The D-Day Story & Landing Craft Tank 7074
Step into history at The D-Day Story, a fascinating museum just moments from the main festival grounds. Learn about one of the most significant moments in World War II through powerful personal accounts, immersive exhibits, and the incredible Landing Craft Tank 7074 – the last surviving LCT used in the D-Day landings.
Blue Reef Aquarium
Perfect for families (and anyone needing a moment of calm!), the Blue Reef Aquarium offers an underwater escape right on the seafront. From tropical fish and sharks to otters and rays, it’s a fantastic way to cool down and connect with marine life during your festival weekend. Please note; there is an admission charge.
Southsea Skatepark
One of the oldest surviving skateparks in the world, Southsea Skatepark is a true local gem. Expect buzzing energy, impressive tricks, and maybe even a chance to see a demo or join in the fun! It’s a great spot to check out the local skating scene or just soak up the atmosphere. Plus don’t miss the fabulous Grind Southsea Cafe!
Also inside the festival:
The Coffee Cabin, The Waterfront Garden Centre Sensory Garden/Quiet Space
Nearby:
Hovertravel, Exploria, The Briny
So while the music might be the main event, don’t miss the chance to explore everything else Victorious and Southsea have to offer!
